The Boot Camp is a team build experience, which can take place at most country house hotel venues. The event is structured to allow all teams to meet and have fun whilst competing against each other at a series of mental and physical military command tasks and activities. Which can include, paintball block wars, giant inflatable assault course, rifle shooting, survival skills, orienteering and command tasks.

The event culminates with a competitive finale, leaving the delegates with a feeling of group success and exhilaration.


The I'm A Survivor Challenge Event brings high adventure and skills acquisition to your team building event. Teams compete at a number of survival based challenges to win the all-important Golden Stars. The more stars you win the greater the reward!

The event gives delegates a chance to get back to basics learn some seriously impressive survival skills and at the same time have a rewarding and memorable team building experience. You will remember the first time you made fire from friction! The strength of the event is that it can take place at any time of year regardless of the weather conditions. The Survivor Event allows delegates to get back to basics, become at one with the nature and work together in a positive learning environment.


A relaxing afternoon of classic country pursuits allowing individuals to learn some new skills, develop friendships and spend some quality time in the company of their colleagues. Content can be adjusted to suit your exact requirements, time frame and specific objectives. Activities can include, archery, clay pigeon shooting, axe throwing, catapult build, rifle shooting, sheep dog trails and ferret racing.

Qualified instructors and country sports practitioners lead the teams in easy to follow and fun training sessions in different pursuits. This is followed by a chance to compete with the other teams. Emphasis is placed on the competition being fun with trophies being presented to the winning and losing teams.

At certain locations country pursuits can include Human sheep herding which as far as we know is unique to active8.


£60:00 per person. Includes morning of survival skills lunch and 200 ball paintball package.

A great day out and a chance to learn some real wilderness survival skills. All the action takes place at our site. The day includes friction fire lighting, shelter building, traps and trapping, coracle building, axe throwing and survival lunch. The day is finished off with a great game of paintball. This day has something for everyone, easing your team into the day with mellow skills based activities and finishing with the rush of a full on paintball battle.


Last night a consignment of vital medical supplies mysteriously fell out of transport plane on its way from London to Glasgow. These vital medical supplies are believed to contain a guaranteed cure for all known medical conditions. Your team's task is to locate the 4 missing canisters and return them to the team of highly skilled pharmacists already in the area.

Operation Anti-Dote is an outdoor pursuits based challenge designed to entertain and actively engage your team in a sequence of mind-bending problem solve tasks and outdoor pursuit challenge. Successful teams will not only have proved their effectiveness but also discovered a cure for all known medical conditions; which is generally best consumed with plenty of ice and lemon.


The Blast Off Event is a team problem solving event. It combines a series of highly engaging team challenges based around a rocket science theme; combining entertainment and serious team working scenarios. The event culminates with a highly explosive finale which makes for a great team experience that encourages friendly competition but also emphasises the need for inter team collaboration.

Teams are invited to assist the on-site rocket scientists in solving a number of science based team working problems. After each challenge successful teams will be rewarded with cash credits which they accumulate throughout the event. This gives rise to friendly competition between the teams.

The event culminates with the Count Down project and subsequent rocket launch. This is always a great finale as teams realise that the rocket launch will only be successful through effective inter team communication and collaboration.
